This sketch was the centerpiece of our presentation to the Planning Commission. It illustrates our thinking about the presentation of the home to the street. The garage is connected to the home with a breezeway that functions like a porch but offers views of the backyard and, in the process, creates a friendlier, more open presence in the neighborhood. In ways large and small, architecture can create connections between people.
