This is our recently completed kitchen addition/renovation on the island of Belvedere, in southern Marin County. We doubled the space of the existing kitchen by removing a solid wall and claiming an unused outdoor terrace, opening up views west in the process. The owners now enjoy an uninterrupted panorama from Sausalito to Mount Tam in the north and over the Belvedere lagoon. Photos by David Duncan Livingston.
