A boy pulls a rope that rings a bell in a steeple overhead, in a church that was converted into his home.
Originally built in the 1930’s, this church in the Tamalpais Valley neighborhood of Mill Valley was converted into a single family residence. The ceiling was removed to expose the original roof scissor trusses, as well as the underside of the steeple housing an actual bell. A rope was installed so the residents of the house can still ring the bell.
