A church sanctuary converted to a single family great room features the original roof scissor trusses, exposed.
This church, originally built in the 1930s, was converted into a single family residence, with the sanctuary now occupied by a kitchen, dining and living area. The ceiling was removed to expose the original scissor trusses supporting the roof overhead, complemented by new wide-plank European Oak flooring. The kitchen island features a hand-wrought pewter counter-top, with the perimeter base cabinets topped with Black Satin Granite and glazed tiles from Ann Sacks.
